I'm just curious what everyone's opinion on the death penalty is. If you had the option to live out the rest of your life in isolation or go on death row, which would you chose? Do you think there is a crime great enough that gives someone the excuse to take another person's life? etc

I think I am against the death penalty... Well, it is hard because when I see stories about people that have done things to kids my first reaction is 'ahhhh kill them!' but I don't think that revenge is a good enough justification for the death penalty.
For me, I don't know as I have never been to prison, if I could stand it I would probably go for rest of my life in isolation since then I would still have an opportunity to do stuff like... read the bible?

well firstly i would depend on the severity of my crime and the length of my sentence. If it was life. i think i'd prefer death row.
I am not sure where i stand on the death penalty, i think ultimately im against it, but then there are definately people who dont deserve to live.

Isolation. Death is way too extreme.

Isolation wouldn't bother me at all. I prefer to be alone.
And death comes to us all
I'm indifferent.

I am against the death penalty as it gives those who have commited heinous crimes to have an easy option out - rather than paying for what they've done they get to die instead. Not justice!

There's nothing to do in prison if you have to spend the rest of your life in isolation.
