Yet without them we would still have a birthright system where the ones who are born leaders become leaders and those who are not drown in their own crap. Would you rather have that system?

Yes ok there are alot of monarchies without power but you still get leadership by experience thats the best way to get your skills reading stuff from books might help and prepare you but experiencing it sets it for you.

Yes I agree but I also think that royalty should be kept high.

we dont need royalty for govermental they have become a symbol thats all
well in belguim they are :p
so your saying a regular guy could become prime minister? just by experience and be a good minister?

In the UK they have the house of nobles. Thats like the Dutch 1e kamer, where they decide if a law should be passed or not. Access to this house is granted to every citizen with a nobility title. So when I buy my barony later I'll join in too
