So I saw this comic describing a formula of the average radius from you where of someone was having sex:

Which, probably to nobodies surprise is correct. (it is xkdc )
The only flaw that this equation had, was the units.

So after some calculations, I cam up with the following equation:
$\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} r = \sqrt{\frac{1\cdot10^6 \cdot 2}{\pi\cdot p \cdot d_s \cdot x_s }}}$

Were:
• r= The average radius from you in m.
• p = The population density in km². (different depending on city, can be googled)
• xs = Chance that person has sex (the number of times that someone is having sex per secon.) (~100/year = 3.1705770E-6/s)
• ds = the average duration of intercourse. (15 minutes = 900 s)

Thus if you know the population density of your city then you can use this:
$\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} r = \sqrt{\frac{2\cdot10^6}{pi \cdot p \cdot 900 \cdot (\frac{100}{3.154E7})}}}$
or the simplified version:
$\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} r = 16700\sqrt{\frac{1}{p}}}$

The radius for my hometown is 310 m xD

Ofc the values can be altered to give the radius of someone doing something, if one has the numbers.

Lol, the problem is getting the numbers

Well pop-density is easy to find on wiki
Edit: O.o Leiden has a pop density 2.5 larger then that of Rotterdam.
That means that there is someone doing it within 203 m of you.

I expect it to be a little bit less, since it's evening now

Yea, and there are a lot more young people so if we take Xs as 3x a week (156/y) and ds as 30 min then you will have 115 m o.o

NICE!
Plus Leiden has some places where people will never have sex (like the beta campus), so it's even less.

Well, it's not huge, but about 1.5 times as big as a standard house in a city
Thank god I'm not living in the centre of Leiden xD
Btw, there's also a lot of water in Leiden, so the people density should be even higher for where I live

Uhm... I believe that one floor is about 75 $\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} m^2}$, but I'm not sure, it could also be 85...
The garden is about 30 I think...

No, since my house is not circular, plus I don't know the numbers exactly, so it could be less

Just find the largest circle that you can fit inside of your house xD
Plus a square can be a circle too, if right system us used

I was wrong btw, it is what he said D:

$\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} r_{(km)} = \sqrt{\frac{2}{\pi \cdot f \cdot t \cdot \rho_P}}}$
because $\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} f \cdot t \cdot \rho_P}$ is the average people having sex in a km² and you then say $\large \dpi{80} {\color{white} \frac{2}{\pi \cdot r^2} = f \cdot t \cdot \rho_P}$ to find the minimal radius of two people having sex in your neighborhood
