Has anyone tried the whol;e genealogy thing and tried tracing back to ancestry? If so, did you succeed? I've been thinking about it quite a bit recently, although my partner's ancestry would probably be a tad more interesting than mine. No idea how to go about it though! So I thought I'd ask if any of you had tried it

i never did, but i've been wondering all my life where my weird family name comes from.
it's not german, but it's not dutch either.
