I did a couple of orchestral arrangements of songs from the Donkey Kong Country series. The first one I did is Forest Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2 and the second one is Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong Country. Feel free to leave a comment. :d

Oh sweet jesus, that's really good.

What did you make these with? I hear orchestral samples cost a lot of cash.

Thanks for the kind comments. :D
Yeah, orchestral samples are quite expensive. Let's put it this way, the samples I used are so expensive that I couldn't pay for them, so I'm sure you can figure out how I got them. ;)
Anyway, I use Kontakt 5 (a sampler) which I run as a VST plugin in REAPER (which is a DAW or digital audio workstation). Then I just got a hold of some cool sounding samples to use with Kontakt and I had a friend of mine help me with the "audio mastering" for the Aquatic Ambiance arrangement. The Forest Interlude one are actually just dry samples, which is pretty bad, haha. I hadn't thought about adding reverb etc to make the instruments sound more realistic when I did that arrangement.

Well I wouldn't have noticed it being dry samples. I'm used to a friend using Frooty Loops so yeah.

Solid sounding music though. My support, yo.
