Yeah, but well... most people have become fond of democracy.
So coming out for it wouldn't really work.
But yeah, if they would just say that there only interested in politics
because of the sense of power, then it'd be a lot better

Perhaps people would panic if they knew the government's real intentions.

If you look at communist countries like Russia or China then you will see that its a good system. Their economy is growing a LOT faster than ours and in a few years they will probably surpass us.

The main thing that I dislike in capitalist culture is the "do what makes you happy" mentality.
A parent should push you to your top, yet most here say things like.
"Yea..he didn't had it in him"
Oh so you gave him tutors and all the help he needed?
"No, we just left him alone and he failed."
Or when you ask a 6yo child if he/she wants to play the instrument or go to other afterschool activities. My bro and sis got a lot of friends who were raised like that, they can't do anything, Literally.

Yea, but soviet systems suck as regards technological advance.
They definitely are a good way to quickly catch up with other,
higher advanced countries, but as regards creativity they simply
suck. As can be seen in China, free thinkers HAVE to be suppressed,
so there will soon be a loss of technological advance.

And yes, our current educational system sucks. Teachers aim at uniformity in answers,
don't tolerate (perhaps stupid) personal opinions if they differ from the standard opinion, etcetera. It is really bad!

Next to that, I had to teach myself to think independently, that's just horrific!
You just don't really learn anything truly significant at schools
and that's a shame. Someone should do something about it!

I meant that your position of oppressive power would make people think even less for themselves, we'd be heading back to medieval times, except if you would give up your throne as soon as you've put a good system into practice

You'd still have all the power around you, really a stupid word won't make much difference, except if you use a lot of stupid words, then you get democracy as we know it

In that case I'll give up my position once order is established.
And retreat to my lab, stealing the throne =D

And destroying the economy of the land because of the terrible cost of your throne
