Yea, really amazing how fast that goes. But if it kills the blood so fast, then how do people survive?

They usually don't. Besides, this guy stirred it. Blood doesn't usually get stirred by itself.
+ new blood gets produced constantly.

It flows trough the body though, and enters the heart at some point. And not that fast if I'm not mistaken.
Maybe it just clogs up that one artery, giving you more time?

Probably. Also, do note that damaged blood goes to the "blood bin" if you will, where it's recycled in creating new bloodcells. If it isn't treated really fast, the new blood can contain traces of venom.
Fun fact, huh?

That is really shocking! I would not want to be bit by a snake.
And @Transfuse, how does one survive?

Anti-coagulants, [$#@!] of morphine and other painkillers, and anti-venom - substances which I'm definitely not familiar with.
I'm guessing also loads of antibiotics.
I couldn't tell you what anti-venoms actually are, like I said, but I'm guessing either a combination of said antibiotics and anti-coagulants or just really strong anti-coagulants.
