Chances are you may not exist in many alternates as you may not have been born or maybe you were killed as well. Alternate universes are just variations of our own.

I don't really get this theory actually. From what I've read from Kaku, he said that universes are like bubbles forming on a plane. All with different laws of physics, etc. But these parallel universes suggest that they all have the same laws of physics and differ in very little from us.

Take the show Spongebob Squarepants. If you are unfamilar with this show watch an episode or two. Now going on the thought that "nothing is impossible" somewhere, somehow, a universe must exist that works exactly like the show. How can there be fire, electricity, and even soda pop and drinks when they are surrounded in water is beyond my comprehension, but it must exist. There must be lots of alternate universes that vary greatly from our universe. That is what I think. I just used the show as an example because it came up as an argument about the physics and laws that were prevalent in the show at the lunch table I ate at at school.

Nicely said, I agree with you. The theory you are refering too implies that at the begining of the iniverse (big bang) there is one force. At the big bang this force shatters into smaller forces and thus creating the laws of physics. In our case its: Gravity ,Nuclear Force and the Electromagnetic Force (think I'm missing one) These forces decide the outcome of how the universe will look. So if they break correctly they will enable fire to burn under-water Anyway you deserve a medal.

regice .... that is cos you can do anything in cartoons ...( ye i know its just an example ^^ )
well i think alternate universes may as well just be other versions of the world and around with just the same law of physics. there is a show with this i dont remeber the name , but they keep jumping from one universe to another

The show you are referring to is Sliders, while the travel between realities is pure science fiction their existence is not. There are models for the 'many worlds' theory. Alternate universes separated by single quantum events.

My alternate version would probably be another Transfuse.

Yes, the God particle is another name for the Higgs Boson.
